That is the heart of why we exist as a church. We believe the gospel of Jesus Christ has the power to change a person, a family, a community. Not all at once and not by our own strength, but through small, steady acts of obedience by ordinary people. One next step at a time.
Who we are
Dayton First Church of God is a small, family-feel congregation in Dayton, Pennsylvania. We are part of the Church of God Reformation Movement (Anderson, Indiana fellowship), a fellowship of churches that emphasize Christian unity, holiness, and the priesthood of all believers.
We are not a perfect church. We don't pretend to be. We're a church of imperfect people who have found grace in Jesus and want to share it with our neighbors.

We pray over requests together and study Scripture.
Our building
We're located at 1059 State Route 839 in Dayton, between White Oak Golf Course and the Armstrong County Fairgrounds. Some of our longest-tenured members started attending at the original building before the current church was built. There's still a thread of that history running through the congregation today.
