Doctrine

What we believe

A short statement of the doctrines that shape how we worship, teach, and live together.

Our Confession

We believe…

  1. 01

The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

Are represented in Scripture as distinct persons comprising One God.

  2. 02

    The Church

Is comprised of all born-again believers, those who together confess faith in Jesus Christ.

  3. 03

    Salvation

Salvation in Jesus Christ makes you a member of His Church and a member of the Church of God Reformation Movement.

  4. 04

    The People of God

Are to be holy as He is holy (1 Peter 1:15-16). This life of holiness is available to all without exception, through what was accomplished on the Cross (John 3:16).

  5. 05

    The Bible

Is God's Word to us, given by inspiration of God and "profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

  6. 06

    You

Are to be the church where God has placed you, at work, at home, or at play.

  7. 07

    Practical Application of His Word

Is to be lived out in community as together we fulfill the "one anothers" of the New Testament, and as we reach out to those in our community who may not yet know Jesus as their Savior.

  8. 08

    When Christ Returns

He is coming for His own, and in judgment. In John 6:38-40 Jesus said, "For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day." There are no more days after the last. (See also Matthew 13:36-43, 25:31-46.)
